Beyoncé has added her name to the long list of stars in support of Women's March on Washington.
The "Formation" singer endorsed the event via Facebook, posting a promotional photo and adding a few sentiments of her own with a caption. She wrote, "Together with Chime for Change, we raise our voices as mothers, as artists, and as activists. As #GlobalCitizens, we can make our voices heard and turn awareness into meaningful action and positive change. #WomensMarch."
The event, scheduled for Saturday, Jan. 21, will take place in Washington and in various locations around the world. Hundreds of thousands of women are expected to gather in protest of Donald Trump's inauguration (set for Friday, Jan. 20) and inequality at large.
On the event's Mission & Vision page, the following is stated: "We stand together in solidarity with our partners and children for the protection of our rights, our safety, our health, and our families - recognizing that our vibrant and diverse communities are the strength of our country."
The "Single Ladies" Grammy winner is one of many in support of the event. Others, who may in fact attend it themselves, include Cher, Katy Perry, America Ferrera, Scarlett Johansson, Olivia Wilde, Debra Messing, Chelsea Handler and Amy Schumer.

Good for Beyoncé! This march is essential to show Trump and his supporters that women will fight for their rights despite Trump wanting to eradicate them.
Sorry - but a lot of these same women who pretend to be all about women's rights, are the ones who benefit off the ability to manipulate men through stimulating their little heads, through provocative clothing & lewd actions on stage or in films/tv. If she wants to help women out- give a concert, and onate all of the proceeds to a womens' shelter, or scholarship fund for disadvantaged women & girls. Waving your fat booty in a see through outfit, doesn't seem to be using your brain for anything beyond manipulation of the weaker sex ( who think with their little heads) What hypocrits. Obama was a miserable failure as a President....THAT is fact. Donald Trump is an unknown at this time and I, for one, sincerely hope he does a bang up job. People like beyonce and her thug of a husband were the ONLY blacks I saw Obama hang out with. He was not interested in the families living in dire poverty or the people living on the streets because of lack of opportunity, lack of any hope whatsoever so beyonce and her bunch of brainless actors, singers and various other 'hangers on' can shove their approval where the sun don't shine. She has never experienced a lack of power or hurt (except from her whoremongering husband) from Donald Trump and he shows NO signs of eradicating ANYONE'S power apart from people who wish harm on the U.S. U.S.'Celebrities' are hating the fact that no one gives a rat's ass about their opinion.
