Moana sing-along version to hit theaters in late January

Fans of Moana have a lot to sing about with news that an engaging version of the animated film is set to hit theaters later this month.

Disney has announced that an all-new sing-along rendition of the Dwayne Johnson and Auli'i Cravalho film will sail onto screens Jan. 27, 2017.

Moana has been highly lucrative, snagging the weekend box office crown three times and grossing over $225 million to date, and one component of the film that has been enticing audiences is the captivating music.

The original songs and score -- created by the likes of Tony-, Emmy- and Grammy-winner Lin-Manuel Miranda -- have swept viewers away. In a few weeks, fans will have the chance to belt out those tracks when the sing-along version releases.

With on-screen lyrics, audience members will be able to lend their voices to the film's hit songs, including the Golden Globe-nominated "How Far I'll Go."

Aside from the interactive version of John Musker and Ron Clements' film, Moana is also set for release digitally on Feb. 21 and on Blu-ray March 7.

The Ancient Polynesia-set film is Disney's 56th animated feature. Aside from its exceptional domestic profits, it has generated over $450 million globally and was just nominated for a BAFTA in the Best Animated Picture category.

    I didn't see this without lyrics. There's no way I'm seeing a sing-along version.
