Gwyneth Paltrow shared some new details on The Howard Stern Show about the night her then-boyfriend Brad Pitt threatened to kill Harvey Weinstein for sexually harassing her.
Gwyneth explained that during the early days of her career, when she was hired by Weinstein to play the lead in his movie Emma, the movie mogul asked her to give him a massage while they were meeting to discuss the movie.
She said she was "blindsided" as he had never acted in such a manner before. She told Brad about the incident. "I told him right away and I was very shaken by the whole thing. We were at the opening of Hamlet on Broadway. Harvey was there and Brad Pitt — it was like the equivalent of throwing him against the wall, energetically. He said, 'If you ever make her feel uncomfortable again, I’ll kill you.' Or something like that."
The actress is grateful for his actions. "It was so fantastic. He leveraged his fame and power to protect me at a time when I didn’t have fame or power yet."
Recalling her experience in a New York Times report, she said that after the alleged incident, the producer threatened her not to speak to anyone about it. "I thought he was going to fire me,” she said. “He screamed at me for a long time. It was brutal." ~Marriska Fernandes

There were many men in Hollywood that simply turned a blind eye or made excuses for abusers. The current story about Jeffery Tambour and Jessica Walters comes to mind. Gwyneth Paltrow was fortunate to have Brad Pitt to stand up to Harvey Weinstein. Most women and actresses had no one and their credibility and integrity was questioned and/or they lost jobs.

i think brad was mad because he didn't get a massage, so he goes i kill u if u ever take my massage away, maybe Harvey Weinstein back was really hurting it not like he ask for rub and tug
Everybody has good and bad sides to them. Brads image has been pretty clean over the years. He has messed up, but who in their life has not ever? What Brad did at that time, would he have done that for any of his co-stars? Or just the one he was sleeping with? I would be more impressed if it was not one of his women he stood up for. I'd be more impressed with men just doing the right thing, without any side benefits for them self. Seems people just doing the right thing are the stories harder to come by and the ones really worth talking about.

Hard fail. Why are the actresses always "innocent." They are not, they know Hollywood is full of scumbags like Weinsteins and they choose to be hoe bags. It is part of the deal. Also hard fail regarding Brad. If he would have killed him, I would have been impressed.
