Dwayne JohnsonDwayne Johnson is spilling the beans, giving fans details on his upcoming movie titled Rampage, based on the '80s arcade game.

Fresh off the box office success of The Fate of the Furious, and the completion of his forthcoming summer film Baywatch, Dwayne is taking no breaks jumping right into his next movie.

Dwayne took to Instagram to post a photo that included a caption full of new information on his character.

“I head up an anti-poaching unit out of Rwanda. My best friend is a rare albino gorilla named George. Very bad people infect George, an alligator, and a wolf with a serum. All three animals grow at an unprecedented rate,” he wrote.

“Their speed, agility, and violent aggression is off the charts. They go on a deadly rampage and want to destroy the world.”

Joining Dwayne in the cast are actors Jeffrey Dean Morgan, Joe Manganiello and Oscar nominee Naomie Harris

The film will be helmed by director Brad Peyton, who previously filmed the 2015 feature San Andreas, also starring Dwayne.

Rampage is scheduled to hit theaters on April 20, 2018. What do you think of Dwayne's description of this upcoming film? ~Brenden Zerihun

Wow, as a video game fan and a fan of this game, even I have to say this is a bad idea. The plot alone sounds like a joke.

I love Dwayne Johnson but some of his movie choices are a bit odd

They should have spend more time and not rush it. potential was there but it's lacking because of the laziness. Not sure how much of a budget they spent, sure was a waste of money. Dwayne Johnson seems like a great individual, and never been the one to judge but as for his acting he's a bit over rated, however an E for effort for this film and I can see that he's trying and He really wants to learn we have to give him credit for that. Will not underestimate opening night for this film It might do well.
