Melrose Place star Heather Locklear’s home was raided after she threatened to shoot police officers as they were arresting her for alleged domestic violence.
According to the search warrant, the 56-year-old Spin City actress "told deputies she would shoot them if they ever came back to her house again."
Sgt. Eric Buschow from the Ventura County Sheriff’s Office told Us Weekly, "I don’t know when she got the handgun, but I do know that yes, she did make that statement to the police the night that she was arrested. Because of the threat and the fact that she had a gun registered to her is the reason that we sought the search warrant."
They did not find a weapon and the actress was not home during the search.
On Feb. 25, authorities responded after receiving a 911 call about a domestic disturbance from Locklear's home. At that time, Ventura County Sheriff’s Office spokesperson Capt. Garo Kuredjian told Us Weekly: "Locklear was uncooperative and agitated. She was not only verbally uncooperative but physically abusive to officers. She attacked three of our deputies and was arrested. There was also evidence that she had battered her boyfriend."
Locklear was arrested on a felony charge of domestic violence and three counts of misdemeanor battery. She is currently in a rehabilitation center seeking medical treatment. ~Marriska Fernandes

I hope the rehabilitation treatment helps her. Heather Locklear has often portrayed strong female characters. Hopefully she can find the real-life strength which we often look to with our media viewing of different celebrities. It does not bring me up in my life to see her brought down sadly in hers. I am glad that she is in the care of medical professionals.
Well I guess that is what black folks refer to as white privilege. I think finally I am understanding the concept here. Cuz maybe as a blonde blue eyed white male I would get away with this also but most definitely NO black male and likely no black female (one was pretty much killed because she kept smoking her cigarette during a traffic stop) was ever going to threaten to shoot any police officer without getting at minimum a personal beat down and at worst shot on the spot with 100% backing form the public because the "thug" threatened an officer. Heather should thank her lucky stars that she has white skin so she get to have the luxury of making such obscene statements to law enforcement and then only have a warrant executed when she is not even home (sure she is off jet setting somewhere without a care in the world). Maybe she should use that privilege for something more constructive.. oh like volunteering at a shelter for battered woman so she can see how lucky she really is...
