Kong: Skull Island - In the 1970s, a diverse team (including Tom Hiddleston, Brie Larson, and Samuel L. Jackson) is brought together to venture deep into an uncharted but beautiful island that goes by the name of Skull Island, in the Indian Ocean. They soon discover that it's home to a wonder of colossal proportions — the gigantic and prehistoric ape known as King Kong, who possesses great strength and semi-human intelligence. As the team ventures deeper into the primate's territory, it becomes clear that they have more to fear than Kong, as there may be more terrifying, blood-thirsty predators lurking inhabiting the island. The Last Word - A high-handed, retired businesswoman named Harriet (Shirley MacLaine) decides to get someone to write her obituary before she dies, to make sure her life story is told on her own terms. A young journalist named Anne Sherman (Amanda Seyfried) is tasked with writing Harriet’s obituary. When Anne is given a list of people to gather quotes from about Harriet, it becomes clear that she's not well-liked by her peers. In spite of Harriet's domineering attitude, the two eventually establish a friendship of sorts. In select theaters today.

Bitter Harvest - Two lovers, artist Yuri (Max Irons) and his childhood sweetheart Natalka (Samantha Barks), are struggling to survive while caught in cruel dictator Joseph Stalin’s brutal and deliberate starvation of the Ukrainian people from 1932 to 1933, known as the Holodomor.
