Along with one movie in wide release playing across Canada, some limited movies are also hitting theaters, including the remastered Memories of Murder by Oscar-winning director Bong Joon Ho. The Empty Man - A group of teenagers go missing after they test the urban legend that if you find a bottle on a bridge and blow into it, then think of the Empty Man, he'll be summoned. As he delves deeper into the mystery, and the horrific, mystical entity, soon his life—and the lives of those close to him—are in grave danger.

Memories of Murder (Remastered) - When multiple young women are found raped and murdered, two police detectives struggle to find the unknown criminal. A detective arrives from Seoul to help them, but his methods are much different. Although there are some common factors between the murders, there are no clues. When the first two detectives come across a mentally disabled man and decide to pin the crimes on him despite a lack of evidence just to get the public to calm down, the new detective doesn't agree with their methods.
