When mysterious spaceships land in various locations around the world in Arrival, the military hires an elite team consisting of linguist Louise Banks (Amy Adams), Ian Donnelly (Jeremy Renner) and Colonel Weber (Forest Whitaker) to investigate. Louise must learn the language of the aliens to determine whether they come in peace or are a threat to humanity.

Billy Lynn (Joe Alwyn), 19, is sent home to Texas to go on a "Victory Tour" of the States after a heroic act in Iraq in Billy Lynn's Long Halftime Walk. However, he becomes disenchanted with how war heroes are treated as the tour goes on. He realizes he doesn't want to return to Iraq, but is torn about letting down his team and not living up to his image as a hero.

Bleed for This tells the story of Vinny Pazienza (Miles Teller), a five-time world boxing champion nicknamed "The Pazmanian Devil." In 1991, one month after he won the light middleweight championship title, he broke his neck in a devastating car accident and was told he may never walk again. However, Vinny waged an epic return to boxing.
