It's official: Scarlett Johansson has filed for divorce from her husband of two years, French journalist Romain Dauriac.
The couple's divorce comes months after it was revealed that Scarlett and Romain had split. Page Six reported news of their divorce late Tuesday (March 7) afternoon, adding that "a nasty custody battle" is likely to ensue.
The 32-year-old Ghost in the Shell actress sued Romain in Manhattan Supreme Court Tuesday. She said their marriage is "irretrievably broken" and asked the judge to grant her primary custody of their two-year-old daughter, Rose Dorothy Dauriac.
Romain's attorney, Harold Mayerson, said his client aims to fight Scarlett for custody.
He said, "He would like to move to France with his daughter."
Scarlett and Romain were married shortly after the birth of Rose in 2014. The ceremony took place on a private ranch in Montana.
This is the Golden Globe nominee's second divorce. She and Deadpool star Ryan Reynolds separated in 2011 after nearly three years of marriage. ~Matthew Pariselli

Ilva Melo I think she is a brilliant actress, smart and beautiful. I believe she is a great person, a wonderful mother. She should keep custody of her daughter!!! I bet she had a very good reason to divorce. And anyone should have the right to divorce as many times as it takes...until someone makes them happy..
