Thor: Ragnarok holds top spot at box office

Thor: Ragnarok, starring Chris Hemsworth, continued its box-office reign at the top. In its second week of release, the film raked in an additional $56.6 million, making its current domestic gross $211.6 million. Our users rate the film 4.2 out of 5 stars.

Newcomer and hoping-to-be holiday classic Daddy's Home 2 debuted in second spot at the box office. The comedy took in $30 million in its first weekend. Our users are enjoying the laughs, giving it a rating of 2.6 stars out of 5.

Fellow new release Murder on the Orient Express also debuted this past weekend. The murder-mystery with an all-star cast came in third spot and made $28.2 million at the weekend box office. It has earned a stellar 5-star rating from our users.

Fourth spot goes to Bad Moms sequel, A Bad Moms Christmas, which dropped two spots from last week. Following three overworked moms (Mila KunisKristen BellKathryn Hahn) who have to take on Christmas and their mothers, the film took in $11.5 million in its second week in theaters. The film has a current domestic gross of $39.9 million and a rating of 2.4 stars from our users.

Final spot in the top five goes to horror sequel Jigsaw. The film scared up $3.4 million at the weekend box office after dropping from third place since last week. After three weeks in theaters the film has a current domestic gross of $34.4 million. Our users give it a rating of 3.6 stars out of 5.
