Been a long time since I left a movie thinking it was worth thew price of admission, this was. Great visuals, great story, even my wife stayed awake until 1am watching in comfy VIP seats. My two girls 24 and 20 loved it as well.

So boring that I fell asleep.

i enjoyed the second installment of James Cameron's Avatar, but i would not bring my grandchildren because the the battle scenes are action packed with violence. Maybe violence is justifiable in today's society, but i am trying to teach my grandchildren to discover creative ideas [or alternatives] within themselves before resorting to violence.

How are the obviously fake one star reviews from the time when this movie wasn´t even out yet still not deleted? It´s a great movie promoting family values, heroism and good relationship to other life forms, like cetaceans. The design of the creatures and visual effects are amazing!

M-shit-U fans are at it again LOL! If it´s not labeled Marvel it just has to be put down because it has so much better CGI/VFX and proves it can be done if actual filmmakers and artists are involved. It has everything the woke crappy movies of todays try to push but fail because they are just propaganda, while Avatar is a movie telling a story in the 1st place, and the themes like prejudice, racism and protection of the nature are a natural part of the story. Pandoran Moby Dick is a badass!

Pocahontas or Dances With Wolves with blue people. Too long, and plodding. The novelty of the first, damaged by a sequel of monetary opportunity. James Cameron should retire before be makes a blue alien on the galactic titanic starship. Wait for it to be released so you can skip past a lot of the scenes. Really slow.

Phenomenal film. James Cameron’s passion and creative energy is on the screen. It’s an achievement for cinema; for sci-fi/fantasy fans; for anyone that dares to dream big! Way to go, Cameron! You did it!

The story line is not good and the character design for human weapon is not good, not fancy enough

User review rating: 5 December 17, 2022

Dope plotline, even more insane effects than the first one, and more of Pandora to see!

Loved it

Really lame movie. An earlier review posted here asked "How can anyone pan this movie??" Gee, it's almost as if humanity doesn't operate as a hive mind and actually have varying opinions about a subjective work! Really, people?!? That's the mentally of audiences for this kind of thing! Sheesh!

Moronic spectacle.

This movie is a feast for the eyes, but it should have edited down to 2 hours. This movie suffers from bad editing and at times the plot is incomprehensible and a bit boring. Not a bad movie. Just a movie that everyone could wait and see at home. Not as good as original as most sequels tend to be.

How can anyone pan this movie?? I thought it was visually stunning and had many unique creatures. So what if it didn't have a great story line. My husband and I loved this sequel to the movie. I did not even realize it had been 3 hours long as it kept us so immersed!! It was great to have a movie we both enjoyed!! In fact I would pay to see it again!

Waaay too long. Cameron is still a competent helmer of action scenes but he's never really been good at directing actors and he is horrible at writing dialogue. Many of the lines provoked unintended laughter. Miss it.

I'd give Avatar First movie A+++ this movie B+++- it was just too long and somehow didn't connect with me. It just lacked interest and action - too much focus on Jake's kids and for me - I'll sit Avatar 3 OUT.

I hadn't been to a theater since the last Avatar movie. Looking forward to seeing Avatar 2 on the big screen.

It is it really great to move again to pandora with Jake/Neitiri family

Avatar 2 is one Avatar too many. I'd rather see a sequel to The Abyss.

They pushed this movie release date back over 5 years, the first one was pleased more than a decade ago and yet I still see this damn thing on the list of "coming soon" movies. Just because this movie has a lot of artistic crap in it doesn't mean it should be a piece of art as in "oh I don't like this lets change this, change that, here comes the due date but its not ready yet, I need more time, let's postpone it another full year" smh really?! I have officially given up being a fan of this movie. Fans can only wait so long before they turn to "yeah it's never going to actually come out, I'm done waiting for it" I'm seriously laying down a money bet here, I'm betting this movie will not see the light of day even after another full century...Prove me wrong James.
