Major cringe. The dialog was poor and it wasn't kid friendly. Definitely a disappointment from the last thor.
The opening scene introducing the villain and his origin story was fantastic and really set the movie up to be in the top marvel films. Unfortunately, what proceeded it was rather disappointing. When the movie was over, I had honestly felt like I had watched a parody of a Thor movie. You could have named it “Scary movie 9” and I would have almost believed it. They really overdid it with the comedic writing, many of which fell flat. There were a few that were just straight cringe to the point that not a single person laughed and there was a very audible “EHHH” from the person in front of me. It felt like there was a joke every 30 seconds and it really stifled the serious elements in the movie. Christian Bale was amazing and what little we saw of him was honestly the only redeeming factor in this movie. Really such a shame they underutilized him.
Chris Hemsworth has shown he has great comedic ability but bring back Loki and have a more thoughtful plot line. The dialogue is thin and Rangnarok was a masterpiece compared to love and thunder. Russell Crowe, Christian Bale (unrecognizable!) all good. It’s not what we say here.. it’s what the box office says.
Disappointed. Not up to previous releases. Dialogue poor in many situations. Thor needed a clown nose to help with his stand up routine. Lame and disjointed in places.
This movie is not for kids. Too much woke in the movie. Wanted to see more Avengers and Guardians of the Galaxy in the movie. Most of music was good, but overall disappointed.
We also thought it would be along the lines of Avengers. But it was terrible. Sad beginning, sad ending. Toooo much LGBTQ. Don't waste your money on it. Not for kids.
The first bit is good but then it plummets quickly. The overall plot and Villan is good but then it goes way over the top with LGBTQ stuff and shows nudity. It makes thor seem like an idiot. Don't waste your money on this.
Marvel is no longer a family studio as it shows thor (Chris Hemsworths) nude butt. It had a good plot but I didn't like all the smaller details I wouldn't recommend it especially for younger children.
Loved Russell Crowe’s campy Zeus. Christian Bale was scary. The two Chris’s were stupid funny at the beginning. Loved Jane’s name confusion running joke. Jane’s character was super human. And the end was great. Made me laugh and smile. Fun.
They have turned Thor into a clown. That is the last Marvel movie I will be wasting money on.
Absolutely loved this!!! If you like the Marvel movies it's a must see! Great sound track too!!!
If you like Chris Hemsworth comedy this if for you. I laughed numerous times.
Messy. Unfocused. Uninspired. And very, very dull. Don’t waste your time. It’s a parody.
Started great, great action and story line...then wham, gay woke stuff. It was so forced and obviously pandering to the gay crowd. It is great all throught the first hour, then it's "my dad's held hand over lava" and lasbian talk. Orgies are discussed, and other gay references. Marvel has turned into a homosexual crazy hack of a company. Do not take your kids to it.
Thought the beginning was just a dream but quickly found out it wasn’t. We left early and didnt stay until the end. Thats how bad it is. Dont waste your money.
Any storyline does not need any injection of woke narrative to gain acceptance. Just present a story as the “reality” without adding any color that makes the whole movie “dumb” and irrelevant.
Reminds me of the old Flash Gordon movie. Campy and fun.
So fun/funny exciting! Thor at his best!
It’s not interesting. Spider-Man was great and this movie didn’t match up
Had it's funny moments, had it's gritty moments, but never comes together for my liking. It needed to decide on way or the other. Maybe Jane as Thor decided it for me. No way. The little girls' of the world will love it.
This is Thor for sissies. Read the old comic books instead.
It was the best movie ever had lots of funny moments and not too much vileness but it had some
If you take away all the angry Conservative bile voting against Disney, this would be a 5 star movie. So tired of see these bitter hateful Conservatives voting down every Marvel movie.
Out of all the Thor movies, this is the worst. Actors were fine, had some funny parts, but cringe worthy storyline that was over the top and childish at times. Also, must every Disney movie push LGBTQ?
Not sure what to say about it. It was funny, but I think it was over the top. Waititi has a surreal original sense of humour and give him hundreds of millions of $ budget for a movie and he will really play around with his odd brain. People didn't like Zeus, but really, he is a Roman God and it was funny to hear his Italian accent with his orgy talk since it was well known he fathered a ton of children. Bale and Portman were the best parts of the movie. He was serious and could be very scary. A little too scary for kids sometimes. How did Thor know the lightening bolt had the power that it did and Thor knew how to activate/use it? I think the ending was good though.
Loved every minute of it! These Thor films somehow just keep getting better and better each time.
There was something terribly off. The last two Marvel movies I watched have been very lame. Besides all the woke crap the movies just aren’t the same even with the same actors.
Honestly, we were expecting a traditional AVENGER movie. This left us feeling like we watched a cheap flick avenger wanna be. And there is Disney pushing the LGBTQ on our children in this movie. Two space males making a baby together? Not only that but several talks of Orgies. Also references as you read between the line of saying “gods” with sly remarks that GOD doesn’t love or hear his children and let’s us intentionally suffer. Totally disgusted with this movie.
Movie started with narration by Korg like in the first Dune movie. Not a good sign. Didn't make sense on many levels. Bale was somewhat effective as the villain. The Goats and Zeus should have been cut out because they were god awful. Crowe as Zeus was really fat and obnoxious. A female Thor is developed. A serious effort to transform the real Thor into an effeminate hero was really sad. Last, a totally Ridiculous ending.
The movie was forced humor and just all around bad. My favorite part was the Guns N Roses soundtrack and the neon sign from Cocktail
I was so disappointed. Would NOT recommend it. Waste of money.
Expected better - got less - I give it a C at best and this is stretching it
Thor Love and Thunder was awesome, saw it yesterday in theaters and loved it. Highly recommend.
Movie was filled with action packed and funny scenes. Gorr was a great villain.
This are going to be good in this one, i know it! If you look at the cast there is more to this movie than you think because mark Ruffalo is in the cast and hela is to?!?! I CANT WAIT FOR IT TO BE FULLY RELEASED.
I don't think that this is his best of movie. Thor should be surround by his friends in the movie. He is all alone fighting his battles with Valkyie. The new Queen of Jane seems to be OK. I might watch this movie. I didn't like the last one. It was in a mess.
Can't wait to see this movie on July 8th
thor is ok
