    Years after he left the jungles of Africa behind, Tarzan (Alexander Skarsgård), now known as John Clayton, a.k.a. Lord Greystoke, is living a comfortable life in his mansion in England with his wife, Jane (Margot Robbie). Their only sorrow is that they do not yet have a child.

    When he's invited back to the Congo to serve as a trade emissary of Parliament, he initially turns down the invitation, not wanting to return to Africa. However, he's soon convinced to go, unaware that he's a pawn in a deadly convergence of greed and revenge, masterminded by Leon Rom (Christoph Waltz), who will do anything to get his hands on the diamonds of Opar.

    Rom has struck a deal with Chief Mbonga (Djimon Hounsou) to bring him Tarzan in order to settle a score. In return, Mbonga will provide Rom with diamonds. However, he has no idea what Rom is up to and what he is doing to the tribes of the Congo.

    Based on the Tarzan series of books by Edgar Rice Burroughs.

    One year after outwitting the FBI and winning the public's adulation with their Robin Hood-style magic spectacles, The Four Horsemen (Jesse Eisenberg, Woody Harrelson, Dave Franco, Lizzy Caplan) resurface for a comeback performance.

    Meanwhile, Thaddeus Bradley (Morgan Freeman), who wound up in jail due to the magicians, vows his revenge from his prison cell. During their sold-out performance in New York City, their show is hijacked and their boss, Dylan Rhodes (Mark Ruffalo) orders them to get off the stage. They exit the building and drop into a chute. When they arrive at the end of the chute, they're surprised to find they're in China.

    It turns out that Bradley is working with unethical tech magnate Walter Mabry (Daniel Radcliffe), who demands that The Four Horsemen steal the key to every computer system on the planet.

    She's suddenly grabbed by a great white shark and pulled underwater. Although she's bleeding from a number of wounds, she manages to get away to safety on a large rock 200 yards from shore. She tries to warn the other surfers that there's a shark, but it's too late. Now all alone, she has to figure out how to get back to land in one piece as the shark circles the rock.

    Ruling Egypt thousands of years ago, En Sabah Nur, also known as Apocalypse (Oscar Isaac), was the first mutant in existence. Betrayed by his worshippers, he was entombed, while his followers, the Four Horsemen, were destroyed. Centuries later, in 1983, he awakens to find the world is not as he left it. He believes mankind to be corrupt and weak, and seeks to destroy all humans and mutants in order to build anew.

    He recruits a grieving Magneto (Michael Fassbender), who just lost his wife and child, as well as other wayward mutants to create this new world order. Charles Xavier, now Professor X (James McAvoy), and Raven (Jennifer Lawrence) must now lead a team of young X-Men to fight against Apocalypse and the inevitable destruction of the Earth.
