Leslie Jones' website hacked, photos and information leaked

Leslie Jones is the latest victim of a vicious online hack.

The website of the Ghostbusters comedian was hacked earlier today (August 24). Nude photos and personal information, including her driver's license and passport, were released.

Additionally, the hacker(s) also posted a video of Harambe, a gorilla that was killed earlier this year in an Ohio zoo. Leading up to the release of Ghostbusters, some Twitter users compared Leslie to Harambe.

Leslie's website -- JustLeslie.com -- went offline in the wake of the hack.

The 48-year-old SNL star has been the target of online bullies who have lashed out with vile, racist remarks and images since July. The onslaught of abuse was so unrelenting that Leslie was prompted to temporarily remove herself from social media.

She even contacted Jack Dorsey, one of the founders of Twitter, and asked that he address Milo Yiannopoulos, who had incited his followers to send hateful messages to her.

In response, Milo's account was permanently suspended.

There is speculation now that the hack was performed by Milo's followers and is a form of retaliation.

The Hollywood Reporter has reached out to Milo since the incident, and he replied with the following statement: "I'm distressed to hear that Leslie Jones has been hacked and naked pictures of her have been posted online. I know we had our differences after my review of Ghostbusters but I wish her all the best at what must be a deeply upsetting time."

What do you think of the potential link between the hack and Milo's angered followers? Share your thoughts with us.

People are disgusting. I don't know why she's the No. 1 punching bag in Hollywood, but give the girl a break.

This is vile. I can't imagine what she's feeling right now.

Leslie is my favorite SNL performer. She is who she is & that's why I love her brand of comedy.

Obviously it was someone she knew. Who else would have access to her license and passport? Or maybe (god forbid) she did it herself to get a huge story on Weekend Update?

Why? Why do people keep pictures on their website that they do not want people to see? And why would your passport and drivers license be on there too? I would understand if they hacked her personal computer or cell phone to get those documents/photos but a public website? I just don't get it. Why is this woman is being targeted by these trolls? She seems like a perfectly nice lady doing her job. Did she do something to warrant such hate?

I doubt it would go this far if she was male. Why is that?

This is so sad, how can people be so cruel? Even though it's not me it breaks my heart as a mother I wish I could give her a huge hug and remind her of what an amazing woman and talent she is.. So wrong in so many ways..

She is super funny! That skit on SNL with her and Peter Dinkalage was one of the best ones in years. I hope she continues to put out hilarious material

It may be related to all the BLM stuff people doing. Allot of people are angry about it, think its racist against other types and are retaliating.

Love Leslie Jones and she does not deserve any of this crap. Kevin Smith's response to his daughter's evil troll would fit here as well. "If you are not doing something useful, you're useless"

I personally love this girl - on SNL and on Ghostbusters - it is a terrible thing that is happening to a talented talented actor and comedian - Leslie, you are great

Absolutely disgusting, she did nothing to incite this. It is evil, why is there so much hate in the world.

Jesus H C! This is just so disturbing. It's like a live episode of Mr.Robot. I can't imagine what she's going through right now. And to the person above who said maybe she did it, shame on you!

Nude photos of Leslie Jones? I didn't need to know that. That's pure nightmare fuel, right there.

  15. Lisa Johnson • 8/25/2016 5:42:01 PM

When they find out who it is, and they probably will, they should be charged with a hate crime. Terrible.

All you hackers out there, I have just one thing to say. F***in" Grow-Up! Pardon my French but; is there any reason in this mixed-up World to hurt someone because you can! How about not hurting someone and help someone because you can!? You will feel much better and also your victims!

  17. Suzanne • 8/25/2016 6:26:43 PM

Wow.People especially hackers have absolutely no respect for Hollywood Comedians, honor is a more suitable phrase for twitter owner guy. My best advice is to tell the hacker to apologize in many and all formats if it's actually worth apologizing for. Lol. Not too smart to be doing that kind of shit to people anyway.
