Russell Brand is excellent as the kooky rock star and makes the movie...with the capable help of Jonah Hill...VERY FUNNY and SILLY!

I liked it better than the hangover!

User review rating: 5 July 29, 2010

A great movie, laughing all the way from beginning to end! Continued to talk about it for days after! And soundtrack is great as well!

User review rating: 2 July 29, 2010

Looking for a laugh then look no more.

User review rating: 4 July 29, 2010

I thought this was a good movie for some great laughs. Russell Brand is the man

User review rating: 4 July 29, 2010

funny movie

User review rating: 5 July 29, 2010

I'm giving it 5 stars because I'm in my twenties, this movie is mainly suited for teens and up. Could not stop laughing throughout this movie, never a dull moment with these actors! P.Diddy's role was great too!

funny movie if you have ever partied hard before. has some lame parts but overall a very funny movie

User review rating: 4 July 28, 2010

Oh man, I could watch Russell Brand all day. I probably would in a second if given half the chance. I think it was a stroke of genius to cast him as Jack Sparrow's brother in Pirates 4, and I'd be willing to see any other movie he's in. But he is just a small part of what makes Get Him To The Greek such a spectacularly funny movie. I'm trying to scour my own vocabulary for synonyms for the word funny, because the word just seems inadequate. I really think that Nicholas Stoller has a great talent for spotting and magnifying his actors' strengths, and in Greek he introduces the world to a couple of real comedic talents who were apparently hiding in plain sight. Like Puff Daddy. The guy is gut-

I love Russell Brand and everything he does. This wasn't the best movie of the year or anything like that, but it was definitely worth seeing. I would buy it.

User review rating: 3 July 27, 2010

Very funny!

User review rating: 5 July 27, 2010

Absolutely hilarious! I laughed until I hurt. Comedy wise, I would say it compares to The Hangover. Definitely have to have the sense of humour for it. If you don’t like drug and “adult” humour you won’t like it.

Some really funny parts to this movie with an underlying heavy topic and a feel good outcome!

User review rating: 5 July 27, 2010

THIS MOVIE WAS THE BEST AND FUNIEST MOVIE EVER!!!!! ( STROKE THE FURRY WALLLSS ) lol :)

User review rating: 2 July 27, 2010

The movie was funny in certain parts but very offensive in certain parts. I was extremely uncomfortable with the 3-way scene. Definately not a movie I will see a second time.

Very Funny! I just read a Russell Brand bio and know I know why the movie played so true. Brand and Hill were hilarious as opposites working (or not working) together. Sean Coomb's mouth says stuff you would only hear behind closed doors, and lots of it., but he is funny too. Not for families, but very entertaining. The original music iby the ficitonal band is great as well.

Amazingly funny! Having read a brief Bio on Russell Brand I can see why the movie played so real. Warning the words coming out of Sean Coombs's character's mouth are words you would only hear in factories and behind closed doors in management offices. Not suitable for families, but tremendously funny for those in the entertainment industry!

GOOD summertime fun - actually good to watch ANYTIME. Very funny film with lots of double meanings.

User review rating: 5 July 26, 2010

I thought it was very funny

Waht a true waste of time. This is truly a case of the trailers being better than the film. Russel Brand did such a glorius job in Sarah Marshall and in my mind fell so flat in this one. That in affect is the whole movie flat, flat, flat.

User review rating: 3 July 26, 2010

Just plan crazy how this goes up and down with all of the one liners and slap stick attics.

User review rating: 4 July 24, 2010

LOL THIS MOVIE WAS SOOOOOOOOOOOOO FUNNY!!!!!!!!

User review rating: 4 July 24, 2010

I totally enjoyed this movie! I went with my 21 yr. old son and knew ahead of time that there would be a lot of sexual reference jokes and so was prepared. It was funny, pretty gross, but had a good story and a happy ending

User review rating: 3 July 24, 2010

Hill and Brand are great in this together. There are some serious scenes, but when it comes to the comedy aspect, it hits there as well. Worth seeing.

User review rating: 1 July 23, 2010

Did not like it

User review rating: 3 July 22, 2010

I found this movie a little too long with a little too much sexual references. It was funny in parts however, just wouldn't appeal to all audiences.

User review rating: 4 July 22, 2010

hilarious story and great acting

User review rating: 4 July 22, 2010

Side splitting, roll on the ground, funny

User review rating: 5 July 22, 2010

Slow to start, but ends with a bang! hilarious

User review rating: 1 July 21, 2010

It started of OK, but just fizzled out half way through.

User review rating: 2 July 21, 2010

not a bad movie, but not great. P Diddy is hilarious.

User review rating: 4 July 20, 2010

I had high expectations as a fan of Forgetting Sarah Marshall. It started off great but fizzled out half way. It's as though the writers were excited at first and then just wanted to end the thing.

After watching this movie, I have a new respect for Furry Walls

User review rating: 1 July 19, 2010

Ugh. This was bad. Almost watchable, but zero narrative drive.

User review rating: 3 July 19, 2010

A pretty good comedy, if you like Brand. Had some pretty funny scenes. Worth watching for sure.

User review rating: 0 July 19, 2010

Was a very funny movie with a great story line.

User review rating: 4 July 18, 2010

Very funny!

User review rating: 3 July 17, 2010

In this sort-of sequel to Forgetting Sarah Marshall,Russell Brand returns as Aldous ,the rock star and big head-ache for Jonah Hill. The two endure various side-spliting situations and many potty-mouthed jokes are uttered. P. Diddy(or is that Puff Daddy?)shines amazingly as a tightly wound and foul-mouthed record executive. All-in-all a lot of good comedic fun in the Judd Apatow vein.
