Holy! Oh My God!It was amazing! I don`t think that any other character has ever captivated me like V did. Him And The Phantom Of The Opera ( which was an amazing movie also) this movie goes beyond all the special effects and goes into something much more deep. Politics. This movie breaches beyond anything that I ever imagined. i was really excited when I saw the previews because of the action flicks in the commercials. But the sooner it got to seeing it, the more i wondered if i really wanted to see a movie where the guy kills everyone, but was I wrong! Holy this is an amazing, amazing movie. The odd thing about this film is that it treats conservatives as if they were murderous communists; that is, as if they were liberals. It is propaganda against conservative values and reveals the sick and twisted minds of its far-left creators. It is they who have naked corpses being thrown into ditches on their minds and not their opponents. There was also the usual defence of homo disvalues, as if people who turn their own bodies into vile sewers should be celebrated and admired. Vendetta is not only likeable, he`s also uplifting. A refreshing change to the comic book adaptations, and even outside of the genre, it stands strong as one of my favorite films this year. I highly recommend this film to anyone that enjoys an action move with an actual story to go along with it.

This movie was excellent. A few thematic flaws and a couple of movie flaws, but all in all had an extremely good message and was extremely well written. The english content was exceptional. Great movie, very real, and very exciting. Two thumbs up.

A fantastic film, both in its stunning visuals and thoughtful (and sometimes disturbing) ideas. Portman was commendable and Weaving certainly shone, though there was a degree of detatchment until the end, when we see more of the human side of V. This was, in my opinion, one of the best films out this year. Bravo!

Brillant movie!! This movie gives me such hope that we, the ordinary people, will succeed in resisting the ugly forces of globalization. It is a movie for this time in history and I hope it gets the unconscious people among us thinking... Reading the comments, I am also encouraged by how many people are already thinking, analyzing the political spin of our governments and recognizing the need to defend our freedom from the polititians who are more concerned about money and power than democracy and service to the people who elect them.

It`s a renter, folks. How to describe this movie? Perhaps, "Phantom of the Opera" meets Orwell`s "1984" meets Lucas` Jar-Jar Binks. The marketing of this movie was designed to tap into popular interests in counter-terrorism and its impact on western societies. But, this film does not add any meaningful comment to any discussion of state control and civil rights. I don`t mean this in a derrogatory way but, if you are in junior highschool and just beginning your voyage of exploration on these subjects, you might find the film entertaining and thought provoking. Movie was great! Hugo Weaving is one amazing actor! I was surprised how skinny Natalie Portman is. The story line makes you think. It was smart, funny, action-packed, etc. Go see it. Trust me, you won`t waste your time.

The movie was not made very well. Although the political messages were thoughtful, the movie was quite boring overall. There was very little action and sometimes it got a bit confusing. Looks like critical scenes were cut which hurt the movie.

Amazing movie...the political messages contained in the movie are very pertinent to real life events and what can happen when we become complacent about our government. Natalie Portman is perfect in this role. Best movie I`ve seen in a long time!

Incredible movie... I went in expecting it to be a Matrix-like sci-fi-type movie (I am not a big fan) and I ended up absolutely loving it. Incredible story, and I love Natalie Portman. I plan on seeing it again before it comes out on DVD.

Coming from someone who read the comic days before seeing the movie the only technical flaw with the movie was it incorporated a bit of that "cheeky, cheery, character" in `V` that Allan Moore intentially left out but it`s a flaw that is not even to scale of how brilliant the movie portrayed the book and portrayed `V`. If you`re a fan of Ultra Violet then chances are you`ll hate this movie but if you walk out of Ultra Violet, frustrated that you just wasted the last 2 hours of your life, then you will love this movie. This movie was brilliant and I`m going to see it again tonight.

this is one of the most amazing movies I have seen. The Guy Fawkes Mask is a brilliant way of showing the main point of the whole movie. I can`t say it, since it would be a spoiler, but listen to Evey`s last words. The movie is a microcosm of the world that we live in today. Seriously the best movie i have seen in a long time. I liked it more than the Matrix Trilogy. Think the Metrix Revolutions, without as much action, a deep plot, and a little bit of mystery involved too. Absolutely Brilliant 5/5!

For those of you who cannot see the obvious current political references made in this film....go see it again and PAY ATTENTION!!!! There unfortunately aren`t that meny differences between our world today and the one portrayed in the film. This film is eye-opening and inspiring!! Don`t put up with things you don`t have to - you have a voice and you should use it!! (Like maybe at voting time??) Finally a movie that has the balls to make a statement! I expected this movie to be something like The mask of Zoro. But guys I was sooooooooooo wrong. I think it was really perfect and I`ll watch it as many time as I can memorize every word said in it!
